Day #7 Self Care Challenge

Good Morning,

Today marks our 7th Day in shelter. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m somewhere between Groundhog Day, Home Alone and Tangled. Everyday I’m amazed that I have so many different feelings inside, when my circumstances on the outside are so much of the same (being that I’m almost always in my home). Little glimpses, however, are beginning to emerge. Similar to the 1993 movie Groundhog Day, Bill Murray’s character goes from being numb, shifting into shock, then irritability, curiosity, reckless abandon, apathy, surrender and finally falls into a place of possibility and service.
